The Alaçatı Villa, designed by Burçin Dinler, Digdem Çagiral, and Ezgi Özay from Tasarımca Design Office, is a stunning example of a modern interpretation of classical style. Inspired by the unique architectural features of Alaçatı, this residential house aims to create a fresh and contemporary look while still paying homage to the region's traditional design elements.
One of the standout features of the villa is the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. The main space on the ground floor is designed with semi-open areas, allowing for a natural transition between the interior and exterior. Large windows at the front of the villa provide breathtaking views and create a sense of unity between the lounge and patio areas.
The attention to detail in the basement and upper floors is focused on enhancing the natural texture of the materials used. Traditional ashlar stone walls, old wood, marble, vintage ceramics, parquet flooring, wooden shutters, and laminated aluminum joinery all contribute to the timeless and elegant aesthetic of the villa.
With 300 m² of indoor space and 500 m² of outdoor space, including a beautiful garden, the villa offers ample room for a modern family's daily needs. Each piece of furniture and carefully chosen product has been selected to create a timeless space that combines functionality with style.
The Alaçatı Villa project began in October 2015 and was completed in June 2016 in Alaçatı, İzmir, Turkey. The design team, consisting of Burçin Dinler, Digdem Çagiral, and Ezgi Özay, worked diligently to bring their vision to life and create a space that reflects the unique charm of the region.
This exceptional design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2017. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skill. The Alaçatı Villa is a testament to the team's ability to incorporate best practices in art, science, design, and technology, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for its occupants.
